FunTrip offers canyoning tours sports and technical for levels 3, 4 and 5 for those already comfortable in the water and in vertical environments, seeking a thrill and challenging routes. The Alpes-Maritimes department is an exceptional playground for advanced canyoning, with canyons such as the Maglia, Riolan, Bès de Courmes, Riou de la Bollène, Vallon de la Peïra or the Siagne, between the sea and the mountains.

The Level 3 This is aimed at people in good physical condition who already have some experience in canyoning or mountain activities. The canyons are longer, more sustained and more sporting, with larger abseils, more aquatic sections and a more challenging atmosphere than the introductory routes.
You can find classics from the inland region such as the Maglia (Roya valley), the Riolan (Estéron valley), the Bès de Courmes (Gorges du Loup) or the Pare de la Siagne, which offer full days of progression in spectacular gorges. The minimum recommended age is around 14 years old, subject to good physical condition and the guide's agreement.

The Level 4 is reserved for an informed audience, in excellent physical condition, very comfortable with heights and aquatic environments. These technical canyons combine great vertical drops, wet abseils, long approach or return walks, and sometimes very continuous sections.
This type of route requires significant commitment, good endurance and real motivation, while remaining supervised by a guide who manages the group's progress and safety. The minimum age is to be defined with the instructor based on the participants' physical condition and experience.

The Level 5 – Expert corresponds to the formula «Canyon Adventure Bivouac», a two-day itinerary in the largest canyon in the Alpes-Maritimes, with around thirty abseils. It's a total in-canyon immersion, autonomous, for a passionate and very experienced audience, looking for an exceptional and unforgettable adventure.
Participants must be in excellent physical condition, comfortable with the cold, commitment, approach marches, and managing effort over time. This type of outing requires prior preparation with the guide, who will assess each person's fitness level and personal equipment.
These levels are aimed at:
It is essential to be a strong swimmer, to be in very good physical condition, and not to be afraid of cold water, heights, or long-term commitment.
As with introductory levels, sporting canyons are supervised by state-qualified guides, who are specialists in canyoning and have detailed knowledge of the proposed routes. They assess conditions (water flow, weather), adapt the choice of canyon, supervise rope manoeuvres and manage the group's safety throughout the day or stay.
FunTrip provides the appropriate technical equipment for this type of route: reinforced neoprene wetsuits where necessary, helmets, harnesses, descenders, lanyards, ropes and group safety equipment. Participants must bring suitable personal kit (sturdy footwear, thermal clothing if required, food, water and camping equipment for long expeditions).
