If the Maglia has become the benchmark for the department, it is thanks to its balance: you jump in, you descend rappel and you swim all along the 2 kilometers of the course, without any time wasted. Its water flow remains constant even in the heart of summer, when other canyons dry up. The highlight: the spectacular passage through the cave, which gives this descent its unique character. Approximate time in the canyon: about 4 hours.
The Maglia is located in the Roya Valley, near Breil-sur-Roya. From Menton: follow the A8 towards the east until Vintimille (Italy), then climb up the Roya Valley via the tunnel and then the N 204 until Breil-sur-Roya. A 10 km shuttle connects the start and finish. Depending on the exit, the transfer to the site is organized by FunTrip: the exact meeting point is confirmed at booking.
