After 40 minutes of approach walking, we enter the cave for about 1 hour and 30 minutes of exploration over 200 meters and 25 meters of elevation gain, with a rope passage. La Baume des Caranques is located above the Loup valley, 40 km from Nice. Follow the A8 road west to Cagnes-sur-Mer, then join La Colle-sur-Loup via the access road and take the direction of Gourdon. Approximately 5 km after the village, at the intersection indicating Cipières, a parking lot is located on the right. Depending on the exit, the transfer to the site is organized by FunTrip: the exact meeting point is confirmed at booking.
