The exit

The caves chosen by FunTrip prioritize large volumes and open spaces, so that the less daring can feel comfortable from the very first meters. In the Mescla cave, you progress over 250 meters and 40 meters of elevation gain, with a rope passage. This is the opportunity to observe the underground formations up close and to discover the life of this particular environment, accompanied by a state-certified guide.

Location and access

The cave is located in the Var Valley, 40 km from Nice. Take the A8 towards Italy, exit at Nice Saint-Isidore (exit 52) and follow the direction Digne / Grenoble. After the fork of the Tinée Valley, keep this direction: the access parking is just before the Mescla tunnel. Depending on the exit, the transfer to the site is organized by FunTrip: the exact meeting point is confirmed at the time of booking.
