The route

In the Vésubie Valley, the Riou de la Bollène descends 200 meters in elevation over 2 kilometers, with vertical drops of up to 20 meters. Its very natural atmosphere, between forest and gorges covered in lichens, makes it a unique race. The race takes up the whole day, with a picnic taken directly in the canyon.

Location and access

The Riou de la Bollène is located in the Vésubie valley. From Nice: follow the valley of the Var along the RN 6202 to Plan-du-Var, the gateway to the valley. A 6 km shuttle connects the departure and arrival points. Depending on the exit, the transfer to the site is organized by FunTrip: the exact meeting point is confirmed at booking.

Equipment

• On loan : neoprene suit adapted to your morphology (jacket, trousers, slippers), helmet and rappel equipment. Please provide your height, weight and size before the departure.
• To be expected : sports shoes with laces, swimsuit, towel, picnic.
• Condition Knowing how to swim and being comfortable in the water.
